Love and blossoms double height black and white wedding cake. The black bow was the same as the brides satin headband.Penguins and snow flakes decorated this two tier wedding cake. The base of each tier finished with black and gold to match the invitations.Ruffle flowers were used to finish this wedding cake that was set out doors.
Two tier white, red and blue wedding cake with a boat for fun. There are white roses all around the bride and groom. The red and blue detail is made out of fondant. Two tier blue wedding cake. Fresh wedding cake flowers. Royal icing finish to the tiers. The pearl balls are handmade and shimmered in this design. This design of mine has been very successful and much loved. Here is another variation which also has the inclusion of pearls.
Red and white wedding or valentine decorated cupcakes. Monograms of the bride and groom personalise these cupcakes.Fondant decorated cupcakes are great for a less formal wedding cake designs. The colour scheme is up to you.Although this teapot cake was made to celebrate a birthday they also make great shower tea / kitchen tea cakes. The colours can be any combination that matches the theme for the day.
This chocolate wedding cake is decorated without fondant icing just the chocolate ganache and chocolate truffles. Actually for this cake and the truffles I made dark chocolate honey ganache which really was very delicious. I also made fondant magnolias to match the chocolate theme. This two tier wedding cake was made for an Australian autumn wedding in the blue mountains. Gum nuts and gum leaves were used on the invitations. The red was actually a more rust/bronze red than what this picture shows.A succulent wedding cake is really a very practical and unusual cake idea. The succulents stay fresh easily and I have even seen them a button hole flowers for the bridal party which looked spectacular. There is silver shimmer detail and diamante in the centre of the succulent/cactus.
A spring green wedding cake. The garden setting and a Ngaire Donley print were the inspiration behind this cake design. The bottom tier is a double height cake so this is in fact a three tier wedding cake.I was thrilled when I finished this cake. It is a white floral fantasy monogram wedding cake. All the individual flowers do take time to make but I just love it!A gorgeous small cake with the top filled with dusky pink frangipani finished with matching organza ribbon. This was part of a wedding cake display.
